Hidden for countless thousands of years, locked away within the Nightmare Sepulchre, lies the Hated. The most carefully guarded secret of the Conservator, despite being the most well known Dracaelan legend, it is the only being in the multiverse that has earned both their deepest pity and their most sincere scorn. It takes on the form of Johnny Kudo, upon his rejoining of the past, present, and future, but it harbors within a burning darkness; a desire for revenge, and the annihilation of all who stand in its way. It is for this reason that the Conservator has locked it away, binding it in shackles forged within the core of a dwarf star before tossing it into the Sepulchre. The Dracaelans consider the Hated as a myth, a fairy tale told to misbehaving children and spoken of in jest by those who've grown past such nonsense... and yet the Nightmare Sepulchre does indeed exist, sequestered away beneath the tallest spire in the city of Au. Those who have patrolled its gates have spoken of having horrible nightmares, terrors that they can only ever seem to shake off years after passing down the duty to another. Others have claimed to have been visited by the Hated himself, promising them power, knowledge, closure... in exchange for his freedom.
