ARA, our ARA, has not been around long enough to have a nickname, at this point in the story, she's just ARA. to the crew of these other stations, their ARAs are just ARA, too. But there's only one Apex Frame, and that's 0-1-1.
After the previous Apex ARA has been replaced, ARA has a lot to learn about her new job, and this was meant to be an approach at her meeting just some of the other ARAs for the first time and sharing her information.

That there were multiple instances of the ARA AI platform, which might use different chassis, was always tucked away in the back of my head somewhere, but....

'bARA' is a pun I didn't know I needed, and I'm glad to have seen it. I'm also a little surprised that ARA isn't a template that is replicated between various vessels! I'd've assumed there were various ones just like her, rather than having a customised body housing familiar software.
It makes sense in a way.
Letting their experiences, memories, and software go in different directions for long periods and then examining the results helps out troubleshooting and R&D. You see what can happen under a greater variety of circumstances, while helping to contain the damage if a given set of variables is required to make things go wrong.
