Here we see the first battle and first meeting of Akamu and Cain, two large warriors that would become sparring partners, friends, and eventually lovers.

Akamu, a travelling warrior monk, seeks to experience other effective fighting styles, reaching Krom, he learned of their arena and their champion Cain and immediately went to challenge him. Cain accepted of course, he's never turned one down but he was very pleased to see another fighter with a large build like himself.

Their battle went on for hours, Cain's might could not breakthrough Akamu's durability, and Akamu's powerful and steady blows could not do enough against Cain's flight speed and hardiness. Eventually both fighters exhausted each other and the match was declared a draw, a first for either of them.

Extremely satisfied with the duel, being his favorite one yet, he invited his hefty opponent to spend the rest of the day with him, and so began their relationship.
