Mell is a dwarf rabbit and pika cross, meaning she is rather small, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in attitude and spirit. Born out of a one night stand Mell never really got along well with her mother and half siblings, even though she practically raised some of them herself, she wasn't particularly mistreated or abused but she always felt her mother blamed her in some way and would be a bit more distant and cold compared to her siblings. Oddly she got along better with her dad when she helped out around the house with chores and learning to fix things, but even he could be distant at times.

She never knew her real father other than finding out his last name when she recieved a large sum of money from him on her 18th birthday. Since then she mostly cut ties with her family and took up her biological father's name, using the money to buy a run down house and fixing it up herself. She got a lot of satisfaction out achieving such independence and seeing the finished project she decided to make a living flipping houses, so she used most of the last remaining money to buy another abandoned house which she managed to sell for a reasonable profit. Now at 22 her business seems to be fairly successful thus far, though it's a lot of hard work for a lone small rabbit like herself and she has been feeling a bit lonely at times not having had much time for relaxation or dating...
