While fixing up another house Mell had to hire some people to install some new appliances and pipes, as there were some things she just didn't know how to do herself and it just saved time on a project anyway to get some help in. Thankfully she has a deal with some businesses and she can get lower rates by sweet talking the manager. She often has the same crew of herbivores come in to do some work for her and she got to know them quite well, though one day they had sent a new guy who made her quite nervous as first when this giant liger walked through the door. It wasn't like she had never seen or met large predator species before but being alone with one seemed to trigger some primal fear instinct, she had to resist the urge to lock herself in another room.

She did manage to get her own work done while he did his and even managed to chat a little and getting to know him a bit. Turned out later that the two of them had something in common besides being hybrids as his past was pretty similar to her own, and now several months later Mell and Goro are dating and they're starting to consider getting married and permanently working together...
