This was a rabbit hole I didn't think I would fall down but holy shit is this situation too hilarious NOT to talk about.
Context: This dude known as Verbalase (grown man in his 40's) who is famous/infamous for those cartoon beatbox videos, commissioned someone to make a personal animation of him and Charlie from Hazbin Hotel for 50,000 dollars, with a failing youtube channel and poor money management, apparently bankrupted his channel.
Unlike many other scandals this one is such a nice breathe of fresh air because it's hilarious, cringe and weird, he didn't diddle any kids or groom girlfriends (at least to my knowledge), nobody got scammed, the most a few people are trying to throw at him are apparently some "transphobic" comments he made but who gives a shit about that?
People are running wild with this news and the memes have been kino. Here's a meme edit but also the music video in question, you get the general picture of what he wanted and yeah, it's certainly out there.

I would like to add to this little scandal that makes it all the juicier-(though unfortunately now makes it bordering on the 'diddling kids' territory.)-the animator that Verbalase commissioned to make this particularly adult cartoon was, to my knowledge, underage... just letting that one sink in.
Oh yes I am aware of that little tidbit although simply conducting business doesn't mean he like, groomed them or anything, he still payed them 50,000 dollars, I know it wasn't all at once but still. But yes a grown ass man in his 40's talking to a 15 year old online, on the surface, is not a good look.
Dude simped so hard for Hazbin Hotel Charlie he went dead broke. Funniest shit I've ever seen.
I'd have used that kind of money for 3D models of my OCs and a fursuit of my current main fursona, Melancho.

So the Animator was underage, creating NSFW material For an adult? Well at least it's not what Verbalase COULD'VE asked for but that's still gotta be some kind of illegal right?
Not really my place to say but, yeah, under the surface that do be sketchy af though.
I'd have used that kind of money for 3D models of my OCs and a fursuit of my current main fursona, Melancho.

Actually the underaged animator was proven false, it was a professional animation team that did the project which makes sense, it's possible that a 15 year old animator can be that talented given how accessible the tools are these days but it was a little farfetched, plus I don't think it would be possible for a 15 year old to receive that kind of money and not pay taxes on it.
