Tale as told as time, but not exactly how you remember it. Meet Morrigan Moonsnow, one of my newest Pathfinder characters. She's a young elf woman who was cursed with her beastly appearance from birth. The reason for this is because before she was born, her family, who had been making quite a bit of money selling their wares to traveling merchants, decided to leave the forest they called home and move to a trading port called Port Frostveil to expand their business. However, they unknowingly insulted the fey that considered that forest their dominion by leaving and, as "punishment", cursed them so all future children they had would be born looking monstrous.

Thankfully, her parents and older, uncursed siblings all love her dearly, though her parents are sadly distant due to feeling responsible for her cursed appearance. Her siblings, brother Mandrake and sister Mavis, on the other hand, grew up to be very protective and caring for her, with both helping her in their own ways. However, when she got to school, she soon faced tons of harassment and bullying, with a few kids spreading rumors that she was an awful brat who was cursed to look just as monstrous on the outside as she was on the inside. Eventually it became bad enough that she was pulled out of school and homeschooled from then on.

Along with being a big bookworm, she's also a fairly skilled inventor and mechanic, having managed to create a highly advanced suit of armor that she uses during combat. Using her smarts and her strength, she now is working as an adventurer in the hopes of finding a way to cure herself of her curse.
