Dett and Sally - moments before potential oblivion
Description taken straight from DA upload
Just an idea that had been in my head
mostly drew this as an excuse to a) draw more Sally Acorn and B) test a two-tip Black sharpie i had recently purchased
and i did this differently by drwing a pencil line, coloring then using the sharpie to outlie...i think the results are great
STORY TO GO WITH THE PIC
The Doors were sealed tight…immovable and thick…Dett and Sally stuck behind them. How has such a thing happened?
The Backstory:
Dr Snively had finally perfected the manufacturing of a new type of Swat-Bot, stronger and harder to take down than the base models…a nightmarish mech menace. However it’s not 100% perfect…the new swat-bot has to be manufactured differently to the base models, thus a separate creation process…flaw no.2 to keep this process regulated Snively had tied it in to the master program which controls all operational swat-bots.
The plan was simple, a small group would cause a distraction whilst a small two-person group would go in and destroy the machine…crippling all of Snively’s creations and pretty much meaning the end of this war. Sally opted to be one of the Duo team as with Nicole she could bypass most security codes…she just needed someone for support.
Sally herself chose Dett, a choice even he was surprised by…he thought he’d be best as the distraction team but Sally had insisted he be there. They eventually all agreed and the plan was put into motion…whatever would come their way would just have to be dealt with.
So the distraction group began…weapons blazing and swat-bots lured away, now was the opportune moment, Sally and Dett headed towards the facility using the shadows and camera blind-spots as much as possible. A few hacked terminals, some silently scrapped swat-bots that were still present, finally they facility…they had made it.
But things did not go as planned…the doors slammed shut and would not budge…Sally tried to hack them open with Nicole but the security algorithms were too much even for her…they decided to focus on the machine first THEN worry about escape…but it seems Snively had been one step ahead this time…the machine was reinforced…their weapons did nothing to it…a wasted effort.
Snively’s nasally voice cackled over a speaker…he was gloating…he had them EXACTLY where he wanted them…they weren’t going anywhere.
Now we are back at the start…Dett furiously pounded on the door with hamon charged flurry punches…all this did was emit horrid noises whilst the impacts started to cause wounds to appear on Dett’s hands. Sally got Dett to calm down after a few repeated yells…they were definitely trapped…but they DID have an option left.
The ‘Deep Power Stones’ …The freedom fighters of knothole had successfully retrieved the two pieces of this sacred artefact…a relic of unknown capabilities. Many theories, Snivlely’s and Nicole’s included, hint hat it could potentially create a large blast of immense energy. If this was true the blast would certainly be enough to destroy this machine and save their friends…but of course they wouldn’t be able to escape the blast.
Dett and Sally both looked at each other and had both come to the same agreement…it was realistically the only option they had left. The two each held a piece...then they held each other, “It’s been great just being alongside you Sal…I just wish it could’ve lasted longer” Dett spoke “Same here Dett…it was great while it lasted”
They then held each other closer…moving the pieces closer together…energy already beginning to build…soon the two segments were almost touching.
Is this truly the end of our heroes??
