Vuldarren Reference
My grumpy warden Vuldarren, with a reference completed!
Due to his aggressive nature, this melanistic warden is referred to as the Deathly Shadow. He's a young adult, but many mistake him for old because of his generally rough condition. He's malnourished, sore, tired, and even a bit stunted. He stands 9 feet 5 inches, while the average warden stands between 10-12 feet tall at his age. Covered in scars, he has a constant sneer due to a broken jaw that healed oddly. This also causes him to drool constantly from that side. It also makes chewing difficult so he has some trouble chewing. His mouth is unable to close fully due to this injury.
His aggression, if one observes long enough, almost seems to be fear based. He is able to understand speech, and some theorize he's capable of speech, though he doesn't care enough to communicate beyond roaring and charging and putting a swift end to intruders with deadly claws and his dreadful Sonic Shriek.
Nobody knows why this warden is so extremely aggressive, but he seems to have had some manner of trauma in his past.
It may be possible to gain the Deathly Shadow's trust, but it would be a long and hard endeavor that would come with a fair bit of danger.
He is less hostile towards human females, not likely to attack unless provoked directly. He also won't hurt a child, even if he will roar and snarl and frighten them away if they annoy him. If the child is quiet, however, he will tolerate their presence, and may even become nurturing in his own way.
