Admittedly this took longer than it should have for multiple reasons:
1. This involved tackling another difficult aspect I don't always draw - multiple characters. It's been more than a dog's age since I last did something like this; one time having drawn 7 characters on one page (though that was on a much larger canvas than 8"x11" notebook paper). More often than not, my limit is two or three characters (not counting generic "stand-ins" for filler/background purposes).
2. Positioning the characters on one page; it's never an easy task when you're limited in your canvas, especially when physical mediums are involved (and at this point my forte, being ahead of my quick draws with a mouse in MS Paint). So I had to lay out the frames of the characters where I could then draw them comfortably without cutting them off too much at the edges or making a mess of the picture. Again, I'm right handed, so in the event of multiple characters (or drawing in general), I'd start from the top left and go right and down.
3. While I'm not going to make this my last Gargoyle centered picture (seriously, they're probably one of the easiest characters I've been able to quickly pick up on thus far on top of being my favorites to draw), it might be my last one for a bit as I do have other ideas floating about my brain I want to get out on paper, and I want to switch things up if I hope to keep the drawing mojo flowing.
But, I'm happy with the end result, showing a moment from my rp with
WolfgerLion64 where he (as a Gargoyle) is with his brothers, whom I collectively call "The Rookery Squad". "Quad" wouldn't have been in their language pre-1000 AD, and "Quartet" would've made them sound like a barbershop musical group ^^; but I digress, enjoy some happy gargoyle brothers <3
