It shouldn't have come as a surprise--The puddles on the playground equipment gave toy wet spots, but the grown-ups never believed you when you explained what happened. Sure, they'd nod, take notes, and fish something out of the bin of loaner clothes for you to wear while your pants dried, but today was different. Rather than the usual offer of a pair of tacky sweats, the nurse led you to a quiet corner in her office and before you knew it, she had you in a thick cloth diaper! Before sending you to the privacy curtain with your borrowed pants though, she quickly scribbled a note and pinned it to the rear of your diaper before giving it a reassuring pat and sending you on your way.
The bulk was difficult to hide and you were worried your friends would notice, so you kept your distance from your friends and favorite games when recess came, just to be certain. When you arrived home though, you were directed to the guest room, and told it would serve as your new room. Opening the door, you found that the once-quiet and drab bedroom had been fully converted into a baby's nursery! This...had to be some kind of joke, right?
