A happy ending~♥
Not a lotta those these days. Thank you for this.
And glad the Doc was put in his place. Still, the root of this hell is the same with anything else
Bureaucracy and money.
I'm just glad Jeramiah is safe. I like that seasoned canine. He's got a good heart (And if I were to listen to his clientele an impressive resume in the sack)

Wudda know. Violence did solve the problem after-all!
I will admit that, while satisfying of a conclusion, it does feel a little bit anticlimactic that we had all this build up towards this problem only for it to be solved with a threat of getting beat into a pulp. Especially after the other looming problem was solved with effectively the same method. I had figured that it would have taken a little bit more fancy wiggling. But as they say, why use a scalpel when a chainsaw will do!
I’m glad our man found a way out of his tight spot. He was too wholesome and good a pup to be trapped in such a predicament. Loving the character development!

I get what you mean. Should I rewrite this scenario today I'd probably do some things differently (which is a good thing, it means I've progressed ^^')
At the time I thought about blackmail instead to solve this situation, threatening the doc to send all the compromising texts (unprofessional behaviour and threats to a patient's parent) to his hierarchy in some kind of mutual assured destruction strategy, but it didn't feel so satisfying. Too risky, also. Didn't feel like it would be enough, something more upfront was needed if I wanted to really throw him off his feet. Hence this choice.
I'm glad your overall feeling stays positive, and thanks for the feedback! ^^
