I feel like I should apologize for the lack of art for most of last year. A lot of stuff happened and just kept happening, and I just kinda... didn't draw. And I could tell when I was drawing this that it had rusted my art skills too, not using them for so long. New years resolution for 2024 is to draw more, even if it's just dumb slice-of-life stuff like this. This one was inspired by my own bout of vaccine crud; when you live with four diabetics and your immune system sucks, you go get your Covid and Flu shots.

Vaccine-itis was one of the weirdest things I've experienced in a while. You're definitely sick, you have a headache and existing just kinda sucks... But your nose isn't stuffy/runny, you don't get a cough, and you're not contagious in any way so it's fine for people to be around you.
Was kinda funny when I got some vaccines a little bit ago that didn't include a COVID shot and I was expecting to be knocked out for the next day and a half, and then I just wasn't.

Yup. Turns out a lot of symptoms people associate with being sick, aren't actually caused by the disease, but by your own immune system reacting to the disease. Swelling, fevers, soreness, brain fog, fatigue, etc. I should know, I'm allergic to myself, my immune system is always

and crud is just... normal Tuesday night lol. Vaccine crud is more intense and takes me a week to get over, blargh.
But vaccine crud is how you know it's working! I will say the COVID jab does it more than other vaccines, in my experience. Maybe because it's an RNA vaccine??? Time will tell.
