Palworld fricken rocks, I love Lamball and I also love Dinossom- these Pals are just... Great! I haven't gotten to play much granted, but still! The gameplay loop continues to be satisfying. So, enjoy an image of grassy leafy goodra dinosaur thing and a funny fluffy sheep. I still don't see this game as a pokemon clone or ripoff, I feel like the designs are inspired in some areas, but they're not... ripoffs. I mean I wonder why this game is getting so much flack when games like Coromon, Nexomon, Temtem, etc didn't lmfao. (to clarify I enjoy these games also, including Pokémon) I'm just here to enjoy the game and draw the silly creatures that are in it- Oh yeah and timothy is still here

To answer that description, it's because not only some designs look real similar as you said,
but it's also because The company that made the game has a history of using AI art even in one of their past games, so some people say that they could have used AI for designs in Palworld even tho for now it's just an assumption..

Man, the first part of that is just sad and pretty petty to boot. Mostly for the fact of all the other Pokémon clones have pretty similar monsters in it. I've played all of these games and there is a lot of similarities to other monsters to already previously made Pokemon.
I have high doubts they even used A.I for it, but I am a person who is pretty heavily against the use of A.I. Although it doesn't change my personal opinion on the game since it's separated from their previous product. An assumption is an assumption after all, and if the devs haven't said anything about it, then it's most likely false. (Mostly because every "A.I bro" I met take a whoooole lot of pride in saying how they used A.I to make actual slop.)
So right now, it really does seem most of it is pretty baseless hatred towards it. How unfortunate.

'w'... So... The game started development before 2021, that was when we got its first release and reveals... AI Art stuff wasn't around then... The people who claim the game was made with AI art are spreading malicious rumors with zero evidence outside of the dumb game that used AI art for its mechanics, not for its design (it was meant to be a parody, but was kinda bad anyways).
>w>... Furthermore... There are artists out there that want to spread hate for the game because they're pokemon artists... And think using the excuse of AI can justify their hatred for it... "This is why I have no money." kind of deal... I also saw one say "No one can make pokemon-likes that look like this, only AI can make it" and I'm like... Mother fucker, have you seen fakemon and pokemon romhacks that add new pokemon? Are you saying people can't have fucking influenced imaginations either? Sheesh... It's brutal...
'w'! But the hatred seems to be dying down... Somewhat... The outrage did get TPC's attention, but they said "we'll look into it" to keep the rabid fans down... I don't see how the multibillion dollar company is at threat to a game that isn't ripping them off... It's pulling MORE from ARK and ESPECIALLY Conan Exiles (with the whole thralls thing). If anything, it's like a more 'family friendly' version of Conan Exiles, with less necrophilia and whatnot. Huhu!~ I don't see why so many people feel the need to hate on it... It's not like it's killing pokemon... TPC is doin that enough on its own, huhu.

I've been playing Palworld for quite a bit, and I'll be honest with yeah as a fellow pokemon enjoyer myself. I did not care for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. I heard about Palworld a bit before it even released, and thought it looked genuinely fun! I don't think it's a crime that you can't enjoy both.
