This was a special idea I had, but also a sad story. During the years I been loosing a lot of people I care about deeply in my life. Really good people that I felt never deserved to have there Lives shorten. One thing I noticed is that I find loosing a best friend hurts way more then loosing family sometimes. Parts of you live on with your friend that you can never get back, A soul that loved you enough to be apart of your life and knowing the deeper you, knowing what makes you tick, enjoying your passion and welcoming it with open arms. Hurts when you loose that.
Then they become memories, Souls you keep alive in your thoughts that no one else can ever see, a version of them that lives on in your thoughts, day in and day out. Memories when you see something in life you can chuckle and say. " They would love this "
For me I felt like loosing important people felt more like weight on my back. Sometimes I miss being myself around them.
I remember summer of 2023 I was working lots of hours, no real time for myself. I kept going deeper and deeper. Remember calling a friend I new since middle school, and just started crying on the phone. wasn't till later on I started to talk to someone how I was feeling and what was going on..
It took me a while to fix what I was feeling inside. Many talks that I kept to myself away from family and friends. Felt like this was my own journey I needed to fix and only I can fix what I am feeling.
Was not till late summer when I went to anthro con being with some really close friends that made thous moment special to me.
Remember around closing ceremonies I went out alone on the balcony, Look out and just took it all in one last time.. Was thinking of one friend that pass away thinking everything going to be okay. Though to myself if they can see the joy in my smile they be so proud of me. which lead to this artpeice
