Around the start of the new year I got the idea to remake Wings of Fire: Salvation as a manga (possibly due to me diving head first into the One Piece manga). While I was pretty excited about it at first and even went out to get some cheap drawing pencils, I quickly realized just how in over my head I was and decided to scrap the project.
Even sticking to only traditional sketches, I'd have to produce HUNDREDS of pages just to get through the first few arcs!
It was a nice experiment though and I like what I was able to make. These first to pages are in a pretty much finished state and represent what the manga would have looked like if I decided to go through with it. It sticks to the first chapter of the current iteration of the story pretty closely.
