Reba loves to tinker, and one of the things she does is make little scrap figurines.

When Tika discovered this and held one in her hands, she had a rather emotional reaction about it. Reba did not quite understood all of the 'why' behind that.
But in the end, it didn't matter, because what she saw is that despite some of the conflicted memories it brought up for Tika, it was still a very meaningful thing to her.
So Reba told Tika she can keep the little metal bird.
It may not look like much - made of screws, nuts, bolts and wire - but to Tika, it meant the world.

And that is all that Reba needed to know.
For if her friend is happy, she is happy.
