My former roommate had a wonderful Aussie named "Bruul". He crossed the rainbow bridge 4 years ago. He contracted a viral-fungal infection from a beach outing as a pup that didn't rear it's head until he was 7 years old after a particularly awful hail storm left him particularly shook-up. He was skittish for a few days after that storm, and we think that this is what caused the infection to spread, due to stress.

Bruul was a very smart, very sweet doge. I'd taught him the difference between "Yellow ball" and "BIG yellow ball"..he was smart enough to know the difference between his toys. Wherever you are up there, bud, Keep an eye on Billie (Former roommate).

This was commissioned by my former roommate. It's unfinished as yet, but I wanted to share the sketch WIP here before going on to ink and paint it.
