Anthro cat disabilities part 2!!
someone on insta wanted to see a chronic pain cat, I thought scottish fold was a good representation for it!
if anyone has any other disabilities you want to see?

if you're doing disabilities with anthro cats, maybe brachycephaly with modern/ultra-type Persians? Though maybe modern Persians wouldn't exist in this little universe, only traditional ones.
Other than that, maybe extreme allergies with a Nebelung? Nebbies are so pretty but they are SO prone to extreme allergy issues [my girl has it so bad that sometimes her eye has a squint to it that lasts ages. For the record I got her from a rescue I didn't seek out a Nebby]
Maybe too close to blindness, but Bengals are prone to cataracts!
Since I can see from you doing Autism that you're also doing non-physical disabilities, maybe something with Pica? That's not a disability I see portrayed often.
And I can see why you picked the Scottish Fold for Chronic Pain as someone who has chronic joint issues. The poor babies :( So cute but so many issues. And I love how the Strabismus cat is a Siamese, when I was younger I knew a Siamese cat who had it.
Sorry for having a lot of suggestions, just though it'd be fun to drop a few ideas!

I have done something similar to that by giving persian's a cpap machine in this art

realistically a lot of cats like peterbald, scottish fold, bengals etc would not exist [due to them being human controlled breeds], however I am taking creative liberties with my webcomic universe to have more diverse and unique breeds
I didn't know that about nebelung, but that is very interesting to know so thank you!! I could probably dive into every disability and issues each breed has but seeing as there are over 100 breeds, that would be rather excessive and not plot relevant to my story
[still incredibly useful information for my website though!]
I didn't know that about bengals either!! [my knowledge on cat breeds has not yet delved too deeply into breed disabilities or issues just yet]
I would absolutely love to attempt to draw other non-physical disabilities like Pica, ADHD, schizophrenia etc
Yeah!! my friend has a scottish fold sona and also has chronic pain and i really do think it's absolutely perfect representation. poor things.
YESS when i remembered that it was an interesting fact about siamese cats and how often they have them [and other blue eyed cats] I wanted to draw it!!
Honestly please do NOT apologise, i am genuinely SO ECSTATIC over your suggestions. I love thinking of anthro cat world building as I want to make a webcomic one day and i am obsessed with world building, cat breeds and ofc disability rep [as a disabled person]

Ah I didn't realize the cat with the cpap was a Persian! How funny, my mom loves Persian cats [though the traditionals, which she's owned previously, she heavily dislikes modern/ultra-types] and SHE uses a cpap! What a funny coincidence!
Also I just noticed the cat with the implants on the other page is a white cat with blue eyes! Nice catch, considering most of the time those cats are deaf, be it partially or entirely.
I would suggest Siamese for pica [as they're prone to it] but you already have a Siamese here lol
Excited to see other worldbuilding stuff! It's made me realize I should really step back and think about disabilities in MY worldbuilding. Despite being partially disabled myself [like I said, bad joints lol] I surprisingly haven't delved in to that stuff for my stories. So thanks for the reminder! :D

YEEE!!!
i used to have a persian cat and the correlation between the two was hard to pass up!!
yeeye, it was quite an easy one to choose, because it's such a well known fact!!
i mean i could do another siamese, or even another similar breed cat. the one above could just be a regular point cat [balinese, thai, colourpoint shorthair etc]
i'll see what i do when i get to it!!
thank you, world building is like my absolute FAVOURITE of story writing
