Raphael - A Rare Moment of Peace - Color (Pencils)
This is the colored version of my Raphael lineart pic. I FINALLY got off me lazy tush and got it colored!
Hope y'all like. This is one of my first attempts with colored pencils, as I USUALLY use markers. (And a marker-colored version of this will be up soon. I will ALSO be moving the lineart version to my "Scraps" Gallery once this is in my MAIN Gallery.)
Any and all comments and critiques are welcome.
Raphael © Peter Laird and Mirage Studios/Publishing.
Artwork © me, so no snitching. I have three MArtian Moragg-Gi friends who just LOVE barbequing art-thieves, so consider yourselves duly warned.

-gasp!- I remember seeing this on DeviantArt actually! I love this piece quite a bit! I'm no good with coloring with handheld stuff (due to me using digital tools all the time now) so I'm rather envious n_n Lol It's nice for Raph to have one of those moments of peace ^.^
Heh, I'm glad that you like it, Nini.
Really? Heh, I'm totally clueless when it comes to digital coloring (don't have a program for it, actually (UNLESS you count Paint, which I'm absilutely NO good at)), but I wish that I DID know how to. It might be fun!
And yes, it is. That's why I decided to give him one, for a change. No Mikey driving him nuts, no Leo jumping on him, just lovely peace and quiet.;)

Heh, thankies, I'm glad that you like it. Makes all that hard work worth while!
And thanks again for the wonderful compliments. I hope to have some more pics up soon, but, due to the fact that I'm about to become the proud owner of a brand spanking-new comp (a Compaq, hopefully), AND a high-speed Internet connection, I've pretty much decided to hold OFF on that til I finally DO get everything up and running right. That shouldn't be very long now, though.
And, as I want to upload at LEAST a couple of pics before then, I think I will. So be on the lookout for them, k?

Yeah, they are. ESPECIALLY when you've suffered through the last few years with an outdated comp (my current one is a Gateway) with an obsolete OS (WinME) that only has a 20Gig HD and about 128Megs of memory. Ohhhhh, yeah, I'm DEFINITELY ready to trade up to a better one!
Oh, you do? Cool! I've liked Compaqs for a long time (my sister Penny has one), so this is more than likely what I'll be going with. The only draw-back might be that it has Windows Vista Home Premium on it (I'D much rather have XP), but we'll see.
Oh, and do you by any chance know how well they work with like HP printers or all-in-ones? That's what I'm thinking of getting (the all-in-one, that is) to replace the Epson printer that I currently have, but I was just basically wondering what kind of stuff like that will work with a Compaq. ANY help that I get on THAT score will be GREATLY appreciated!

Cool. I'll try it then, once I get my new comp.
Now if the rest of our income tax refund/rebate money would just come in............
And actually, I DON'T know how to, really. But it CAN'T be all THAT hard, can it? ESPECIALLY if I can con my sis into helping me with it. And THAT shouldn't be too hard, knowing her.
