Well, when the tigers away, the wolf will draw out of boredom and let little fantasy scenes play in his head.
The table was hurled to the side with a loud clash. The wolf jumped into his stance with both daggers drawn. “Whoa, calm down” Barovn knew he already let too much slip out. The rabbit hurled himself back, drawing his own staff at the ready, his grip turning his knuckles white under his fur. “Why should I trust you? How do I know that you’re not here to drag me back to my cell” the wolf snaps back, already circling around, keeping Barovn within his gaze making his way towards the exit.
“I’m not done talking to you” Barovn growled as the wolf’s daggers glowing red hot in a mere moment causing him to drop them. The wolf softly barks in surprise, he hadn’t counted on the rabbit being so powerful. “Your cheap magic won’t be enough to drag me back” The wolf said slipping into the shadows of the dimly lit room.
Barovn’s breathing increased, his ears wildly turning, searching for the faintest sound that might give the wolf’s location away. Before he could react the wolf had stepped out and slashed at the rabbits arm, leaving a pretty deep gash and quickly dashing back to the darkness. Barovn reached for his bloodied arm letting his guard down allowing the wolf to quickly swipe his staff away letting it fall across the room. The rabbit racked his brain desperately searching the few spells he got a chance to learn, for something, anything to help him out. Barovn’s eyes grew wide, the wolf’s hands subduing the rabbits arms and his teeth just glancing barovns throat. “So… got anymore tricks cottontail?”
