The Fat of the Kingdom (Illustrated)
Exerpt from
youcrazyforthis 's story. Go check it out HERE
It seemed each of Robin’s trips were designed to test him with added responsibility. His second mission was meant to dissuade a branch faction of a rivaling kingdom from entering full-on rebellion, which was a more challenging effort than a simple crop dispute. Again, the trip involved a week’s journey west, where the fox was again forced to spend his time sitting, waiting and inevitably snacking. He’d never had much of a sweet tooth before, but the more time he spent staring at the rolls and miniature cakes left for him to devour, the more he didn’t just give into temptation but actually enjoy it.
Story time! Long long long ago, JT (this lovely wolf:
youcrazyforthis) agreed to do a trade with me. And Tzin got excited. A bit too excited. And very on-brand, bit more than he could chew. He was supposed to draw a series of images for the associated story. I finished the sketches for all seven of them... but the project fell through on my part. I kept telling myself that I would get back on the horse and finalize the drawings. I even restarted some of the sketches from scratch. But I just couldn't help but feel a deep sense of shame for not delivering my side of the trade. And during my last vacations, I decided to square my debt, and do something nice for this wolf of utmost patience. And since I liked his Robin Hood story so much, I figured illustrating some of the scenes from it would be a fair payment and symbol of my appreciation.
Thus this project was born. And now we shall all rejoyce in the glory of this fit-to-fat character arc, going from thin thief to doughy diplomat! PLEASE GO CHECK OUT JT'S STORY!! TRUST ME! IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME!!

Anyway! Show enough love and I might draw an epilogue with a fat King Richard enjoying the trade agreement with Flurryhaven... What can I say, I like fat lions.
