Catching up with everyone here, but yeah, the entire coastline is like that except for a few sandy stretches, and even those are rocky.
At extreme low tide I often see seals and/or birds on big, jagged rocks in the water near my house that are underwater at high tide. There are markers and buoys in the harbour that indicate where they are, so the fishing and recreational boats don't hit them when they're invisible.

This was another one of those " I gotta try to get this " moments. I was driving to work, and I actually pulled over and got out of the car to get it.
On these skinny, narrow ( not to mention heavily forested ) little rural roads with all the twists, hills and blind corners, doing that can be a risky proposition, so I seldom do it. I lose a lot of nice possible photos that way; it's a bad time and/or place to stop a car!
