A shot of me in uniform way back when. The somewhat sepia tone was a happy accident of rather old slide film that had been cooking in a car's glove box.

All of it is WotR kit, in pattern, dating from the late 1850s, though the trousers are wartime expediant light blue rather than indigo. The Springfield is the 1861 pattern. The historical unit, 7th Reg. Wisconsin Vol. Infantry, would have had mostly 1854 Lorenz two-band rifled muskets in either original .54 cal. or re-bored .58 cal. along with scrounged or replacement Springfields as the war went on.
