Desoto wins the heart of another human at FWA 2011.
The Metro Cafe in Atlanta has amazing cake and hot coffee and
is fursuit friendly. Of course we went back to visit our favorite
waitress more than once.
Jackie was awestruck by the saucy Desoto and his friendly banter.
She had so many questions and with each answer she became more
enthralled by the idea of hanging out with the talking dogs.
She promised that she'd come down to the con and dance to
Beyonce with the rug-cutting canine. I'm sure she made it but we
missed her, swept away on the tide of a busy Saturday night.
Sorry, luv, maybe we'll put a ring on it next year.
I love the interaction between humans and suiters.
The initial shock gives way to curiosity which leads to the question and
answer session. Huge smiles and warm hugs are always the end result.
It's an incredible feeling.
The thing I'll never forget about Jackie is that she has a dog at home
that she wants to name "Jackie."
Say it with me now: "I'm Jackie and this is my dog Jackie."
I've never heard anything so awesome in my life.
I doubt she would have told us of her strange naming predilection
if we hadn't been giant dogs ourselves...

Wait, you mean there's more than one big, talking dog running around??
I love how your experiences counter some of the other stuff I hear about suiters - mostly from the media, that feel obligated to condemn and/or ridicule anything that doesn't fit into their little boxed view of the world. Your world is much more the place I want to live in. Thanks for always having uplifting stories to share. :3

If I had other fursuiters where I lived, and could actually have
some courage from other furs here where I live, there would be no
problem at all. If I lived in the same state or city as you, Dogbomb,
I wouldn't feel "scared" or "shy", (Though I still wouldn't talk), but
I know I'd feel a lot better around you.
Damn. Your stories always inspire me to do things. Only issue is, it's
because of where I live and the constrictions....
I feel somewhat bored and upset because there's nothing to do as far
as fun where I live.

Their food is awfully good, we ended up not going this year because last year the service was terrible(Waited almost 3 hours to get our drinks X.X). If you're ever so inclined, there's a dinner mystery theatre called Aggies or something like that- serves up a great meal and a fun mystery.
And man, the layout of FWA was so weird, I didn't see you once since there wasn't really a 'main area' to hang out in. Spent most of my time in the pool/pool area XD

Pssst, 'praps you should see if this restaurant has a number, and see if you can't get a hold of this Jackie, as then FWA 12 could become a date! Of course, a year IS a long time to wait, but, when it comes to people, you probably know what works best, as you've been around the sun quite a few more times than me.
loved meeting you at FWA! Wish we could have chatted more but you seemed quite busy both times I saw ya (when I was out of suit and when I was in suit)
