This is my ChimeraLand OC. I spent so much time with this character, so many hours buffing him up, building his house, giving him cool pets, including Bruce the Panda who I spent over 50$ on, making friends, joining a clan, doing all sorts of things. Honestly, ChimeraLand landed a place in my heart because, well... Rumpntuff is MY character. No other game I can think of has the character freedom that ChimeraLand does. Even in games with anthros in them, I'm still somewhat limited to making a character I will like, but one that won't quite be "me." Not "me" in a literal sense, but I mean "me" in the sense of a character I want to create containing my interests and favorite things and whatnot.
But saddly, ChimeraLand announced a few days ago that they would be shutting down their global servers at the end of March, and only the Chinese version will remain. And with the closing of ChimeraLand, Rumpntuff will go with the game.
But no! I can't let that happen. I've always been meaning to draw Rumpntuff, but this was the kick I needed. I don't want Rumpntuff to die with ChimeraLand, and so I drew him to immortalize him. And, honestly, I'm tempted to start a Comic/Graphic Novel about him.
Rumpntuff, or "Rump" as he's nicknamed, isn't the chosen one or any of that nonsense. He's a humble hippo. He may have one day had dreams of being the most powerful tank in the lands, but has eventually given up that endeavor for something more managable: simply being strong enough to help. This hippo's big, fat and slow, but exceptionally strong, and surprisingly friendly for a hippo, yet he hides many things away from the people he cares about, mostly opinions. For example, he is uncomfortable around humans, but does his best to hide his discomfort when working with them. He doesnt wear armor, for he believes that his big, fat, muscular belly is the only armor he needs. Aside from his rags, he wears around his neck his mother's teeth, after his mom was killed by an aggressive mate. Around his waste is a tribal belt worn by most hippos. His weapon of choice is a big, heavy club.
