"Pick it up and apologize, before I drop YOU!"

Desta and Dana are a pair of half arctic fox, half African wild dog runaways living on the streets on Chakona. Never staying in one place too long for fear of being tracked by their parents even though they stopped looking years ago. The sisters had a pretty rough childhood suffering regular abuse by both their parents but while Desta managed to stand up for herself sometimes Dana had it the worst and still sufferes from trauma to this day making her extremely shy and timid and almost child-like in mentality. Her one source of happines being a pet pinecone that Desta got her one day, and she carries it around with her everywhere but occasionally some person will bump into her and causing her to drop it as just happened here. Most of the time people will apologize but there's always goign to be that one person who gets confrontational and terrifying Dana in the process needing Desta to step in to protect her sister.

These situations tend to get them in trouble with local law enforcement, as well as the occasional minor shoplifting so that's another reason they never stay in one place too long or trust any social services. They usually find a place to hide while Desta takes any available local temp jobs to have a bit of cash and travel money but most importantly to buy some food. But when there are no jobs available Desta resorts to shoplifting for things they need, and though she hates to admit it she has gotten rather good at it as much as she would rather not have to resort to it.
