Hi, Barry, and hi all! It's about time I showed Chuck the Ferret character some love, by including him in a crossover idea I had this afternoon. It involves him teaming up with another one of my characters -- Gold Wolf Anu -- and discovering the remains of what looks like some church, or possibly a school building, after they decided to go freediving and took a deep dive into the sea near the resort where they met.
~ This is something I have all the time now, whenever I come up with a cool concept for an illustration -- I envision something really graphically breathtaking, but I end up making it look rather amateurish because of my habit of drawing in a certain way. It can be an advantage in some cases, but it can also be quite detrimental. Something I really excel at, however, is depth perception and lighting, which is pretty ironic considering I struggle with depth perception in particular whenever doing something in everyday life, like cycling or jogging as a rough example.
