Introducing the new raptor form for my lovely Kayla. (sorry for the long story ahead, i might get a first person story from kayla's point of view when i get art of raptor kayla's transformation to her new form)

It all happened after an accident when testing a time machine she built sending her all the way back to the dinosaur age and knocking her unconscious. a group of raptors found her and took her to their area and had a long inspection of her as they were curious because they have never seen anything like her before. after this inspection they performed a ritual that slowly turned her into a Raptor, causing her eye colour to change aswell as the new markings on her back.

When Kayla woke up, she was scared by all the new faces looking at her, jumping back and falling on her face after expecting to land on 4 legs. realising what they had done to her, kayla freaked out, without control of her powers in her new form, she chose to run, panicking. after a while of this, she was caught up by another raptor, asking if she would join the pack, she asked for time to think, still worried about her situation, 65 million years away from her son, not sure if she is able to get back to her original form or if her powers will ever work again.

After much time to think, kayla returned to the raptor pack, accepting their offer to being part of their pack, helping out by hunting and defending. during this time she would relearn her powers including her ability to become her normal form again as for the most part, she resented her new form. after learning her powers again she begun the task of raw mining and building of a one-time use time machine so she could get back to her son and escape the impending asteroid.

After plenty of time in her new form, kayla grew to love it, learning how agile and fast it can be and how accurate it can be while using powers, something her main form couldnt do. along with that, she kept thinking how her son would think about it, feeling he would love it, she would spend her spare time looking for places that might be preserved long enough to end up in a museum to she can show her son a print she made far far in the past. eventually she makes her time machine and returns to the present day, cuddling her son because while to him she was gone for at most a couple days (his father was looking after him), to Kayla, she was away for 20+ years.
