The bear brothers chose a certain day (think of it like a holiday) when to have a festival onto themselves.
Days are set to prepare for this festival where everyone has an assigned task, such as harvesting from a special tree for body paint and other amenities, while others marinate food for a roast.
Failure of such preparations cancels such an event. The brothers work tirelessly to make their festival happen, it is an integral part to their kinship with one another.
Once all preparations have been made, and the day comes, they strip down all their gear and clothes. To them, clothing is more about individual identity.
There is normally a competition of dibs on who gets to have a certain color of body paint, or sometimes they get it randomly through draws.
Most of the day's activities are just spending it with each other (strictly) in their home base. They would have a great feast by about lunch time, then they rest.
After the coming of twilight, they head to their community hall where they begin performing the dance. They have things such as constructs producing the music for them (like radios or an orchestra).
Their hall exudes an energy that fills them with positive emotions. The more brothers there are, the more circular the formation gets. Dancing typically alternates between holding each others arms,
to dancing with both arms in the air, flying like a bird. Hours pass and energy builds up within the brothers, filling them with ecstasy. However, it becomes too much for them to contain, and they link
arms to share the burden. The longer they can hold it, the longer their thrill will last, typically until it becomes too much for everyone to bear.
Once the link is broken, the brothers feel elation, as the energies cause their bodies to float in the air as if laying on a cloud. This phenomenon lasts several minutes.
After a joint bath, the festival concludes, and the brothers head to bed, looking forward to the next festival.
It is rare, but there will be strangers who manage to enter their remotely-isolated realm. The brothers will offer strangers to partake in the festival, but only if the stranger wants and only if the brothers like said stranger in the first place.
The characters in the picture are as follows: Kuwari, Gresh, Kai, and Takoda.
This was an art piece I did back 2020, but decided to adjust it a bit for 2024, because my projects today didn't come to fruition. Maybe I'll remaster this one day, especially because their bodies are not updated to my current standard.
