At times like this, you just want to drop down your head on the desk and be done with it all. They called the help of their first officer, and hologram, Holly. When she materialises in front of them, she saw there was a clear reason for concern...

This is an illustration drawn by the lovely  cervelet as a Patreon sketch request. He did a splendid job in expressing Cobenino’s mood in this piece. Originally, I had thought that Holly would be full sized here, but I kinda like the table-top holographic assistant variant of her. I can imagine she started out this way before she became sentient and the chief engineer Turash-Kae installed holographic and force field projectors all throughout the ship.
