Back at Echo's "cave" (an abandoned mine shaft), Chum learns flattery alone won't spare him from the dragon's jaws.
Better step back and think of something, Chum! WHOOPS.... you should have watched your step!
After seven years, I decided to start this little project back up. I've always wanted to continue this strip so I can better develop these characters and doing a little world building while I'm at it. My personal goal is at least one page per month....we'll see...although I am already halfway done with the next. :3

Yes, and Crocs dissolve and digests those people so completely that the only way to determine the relatively small amount of indigestible material left afterwards had once been a person is through microscopic analysis -- truly the most efficient carnivore digestive system there ever was!
Great to see this comic start up again after all of these years~! One thing that always puzzled me about this one though is that it seems to begin in relatively modern times with what looks like a late 20th century Cessna type commercial airplane in the first panel, but then they seem to go back in time to the 1920's or 30's, based on the WWI type helmets but post WWI Thompson Submachine guns. So is Echo able to time travel and take people from current times back to the past, or is this just "cartoon wackiness" where anything can happen? I know Echo must have lived for centuries considering that some of the previous comics take place in Medieval times as I recall.
Dang, you certainly notice the fine details! Yes, Chum's plane is a Cessna.... totally out of place when compared to his surroundings. He also says on page one that his charts aren't any good and his radios aren't working.... there is a reason. I don't want to give away too much yet, as things will start to be explained in the coming pages! ^^; As for the the early medieval-themed comics.... chalk those up to unrelated cartoon wackiness. X3
Ah, I think I get it now.... sort of a "Bermuda Triangle-esque Time Warp" thing. I have to admit it is very original though, to go back in time like that only to meet a giant talking dragon in such an unlikely time as the early 20th Century, (not generally acknowledged as a dragon paradise), rather than the usual Middle Ages, or "Alternate Universe Fantasy World". A bit of a bummer though to realize Echo hasn't been devouring people for the past 500 to a 1000 so years since the Medieval period. Perhaps this comic will reveal is actual age and origins.
