I have long been interested and curious about the Halo universe - I don't like the games, I don't care for the RTS or anything like that - what I am curious and interested in seeing, is those left behind. Those not killed, and especially, those whom never went to war, but had loved ones who did.

A female elite, looking at the rising sun - she sits, naked, upon her balcony. Her legs are spread and her head is tucked, while her hands cross over her chest. From perspective, a cup of tea and a table sits, distorting her female sex - she isn't shy or afraid of being naked. She looks forelorn, thinking of, dreaming of someone who is gone - no longer with ehr, or perhaps simply, litterally, gone forever - someone she loved, but misses.

Interesting to do, not my usual artistic territory. Don't think I'll likely draw a Sengheili again.

It also went beyond the original sketch idea. I just wanted to experiment with using block colour. It's been kind of succssful. But at least its striking.
