Yup, lore time. In case y'all didn't know, Diona had a 3rd child, & I'm sure y'all know who it is. She really was looking forward to see perfection on her newborn , but after her son finally hatched, she didn't see any of that in him..... So she abandon him to a trainer in Kalos. To this day, Diona's daughter & (shiny) son are still unaware about their 3rd missing sibling. She still holds his card the once represent her 2nd son, but now it's a reminder to her that ponders in her mind; "...Is he still out there...?"
