Shinedown was awake. which means her masters were soon to wake too.

being their Stand, Shinedown could feel the Orthros roll out of bed and do some wakeup stretches, as if their body was its own. though something felt off, the sensation felt less distant then normal.

A deep, long yawn broke the silence that morning. "Mornin' everyone!" Sunny said cheerfully.

Everyone? Shinedown was confused. The only ones in this room are...

"Morning Sunny!" Midnight replied with an equally cheerful tone, Shinedown then felt the strangest thing; something rubbing up against its face from the left.

Midnight spoke up again, "Morning, Dawn!"

"... Dawn?"

Shinedown turned her attention to its left. nuzzling against her face was Midnight. it looked to its right and saw Sunny right up in its face too. Shinedown tried to float away from the pair, but felt it couldn't. in fact, Shinedown found itself fused to its masters' body, sitting right in the middle as their third head! It took control of their hands, as it brought them to its face to rub its eyes. it then pat down and inspected the body it was co-inhabiting.

"... Our dear masters," Shinedown asked, "What happened to us?! we're..."

Sunny rolled her eyes, "Again with the 'masters' stuff? lemmie guess, you had the 'Stand' nightmare again?"

Midnight cooed, "Aw, you poor thing~! You're always so scrambled when you wake up from that..."

"It's all cool Dee," Sunny chimed in, "once we get some breakfast in us, you'll feel more like yourself."

Shinedown was getting even more worried. nightmare? impossible! "Dee isn't our name! and neither is Dawn!" Shinedown exclaimed, forcing the three of them to stand up. "We are Shinedown! that was the name you gave us! have you forgotten!?"

Sunny and Midnight were spooked at their Sta... their sister's outburst. Shinedown... or 'Dawn' for now... read the room and calmed down. going insane was not going to fix their problem, it's best for now to play along until the responsible party presents itself.

"... y-you're right. We- er... I must just be out of it." Dawn sighed, "breakfast will help sort our- ... sort my head out."

"That's the spirit!" Sunny exclaimed as she and Midnight sandwiched Dawn in nuzzles, "Let's make it quick- got a big day ahead of us!"

"We do?" Dawn asked. a clue to figuring out what's happening perhaps?

"Yeah!" Midnight replied. "Remember? that new amusement park opened up- we were gonna go give that a try."
