Nakajima Yoko from the book "The Twelve Kingdoms" by Fuyumi Ono. This is by far one of my favourite books/stories of all time and I love the character growth of Yoko, the main character of the story. Here is Yoko with the fancy sword she was given near the beginning. This is just an arbitrary depiction of her fighting for her life in the beginning of her travels in the Kingdom of Kou, of the Twelve Kingdoms.
