A piece done as an xmas/2nd anniversary gift for my lovely girlfriend.
It was meant to show how we look out for each other, even in strange and foreign landscapes. We both have a love for fantasy and science fiction so I wanted to create a particularly ethereal, almost dream-like setting for our journey, and I think it turned out pretty close to how I was envisioning it! She makes every moment we are together feel magical, whether we are traipsing through a forest under the moonlight, or just at the grocery store. I would let her ride me into battle any day. <3
This was mostly done with prismacolor pencils, with microns and brushpens for the linework on the characters.
