From the very final pages of the novel: Tai Lung has returned to his new home, a little house built on the side of the Jade Mountain (based on designs for a house for Oogway, which was shown in Art of KFP). With his duty to Po accomplished, the holiday preparations completed, and having been away on a journey of kung fu training around the empire, the snow leopard is finally able to see his wife Tigress again...and their adorable twins, a girl with his pelt and a boy with Tigress's. He knows now who he is, where he belongs, and the different lessons he should have learned...and finally has.
