3 months following Galex's spell that left Gale with elastic powers, and Gale is... still as stretchy and all over the place as she was before, long after Galex's spell had worn off.
It wasn't until she met with Saki about the dilemma that Gale discovered the reason for it. Gale has always had her elastic powers locked away inside her, all Galex did with her spell was unlock it.
So while Gale's days as the 'down to earth' boss of the Emporium are over, Gale does actually prefer being like this due to what she's able to pull off now.
However, while this does mean her normal outfits will need so work to withstand her elastic powers. Saki did have an idea for a very 'superhero' themed suit that Gale can use for really testing her boundaries~

So after some thought, decided to stick with Gale being elastic powered. And after talking with PantsuDesu (https://twitter.com/PantsuDesu), we both came up with a concept for a very elastic/superhero themed outfit for Gale.
Gotta give Plastic Man and Elastic Girl some competition, heh.
