Yoruichi was taking care of something important.
Even though the former captain was ready to enjoy some days off, visiting some of the captains in Seireitei and going around places in the Soul Society, there was one last thing she had to do before leaving as Ichigo and Rukia had to talk with her about something. The pair revealed that a few days ago they found a Zanpakuto. At first, they believed it belonged to one of the captains or someone from the Soul Society, but upon seeing that the blade didn’t look like the others, and noticing the energy that radiated from it, they knew that it was both a weapon without an owner and a different kind of sword. Wanting to help them and seeing it as a chance of giving her something to do before going to the capital city to enjoy some days off, the former captain decided to take the blade with her.
From the moment she saw the strange-looking sword, Yoruichi felt that there was something strange. Even with her experiences, the former captain wasn’t sure what it could be. As her interest grew, she decided to change her plans, making a stop at another place before she could go to Seireitei. For reasons that she couldn’t understand, Yoruichi went to an abandoned town, a place that was affected by a civil war between two fractions. She took her time, trying to find something that could help her with the sword, information or maybe someone that could tell her about the strange-looking blade.
As it was late and was aware about the dangers that usually come at night, the former captain decided to spend the night in one of the old houses, staying in the one that looked less demolished. Not only did she use that moment to relax and regain her energy, but she also went on to take a closer look at the blade, hoping to find something that might tell her about what kind of weapon that was.
“You really are an enigma. You look like a regular sword but have something else, I can feel it. I don’t think I’ve ever found a weapon like you and the more I think about what can you offer, the more interested I’m on you,” Yoruichi said while smiling. Although others might have their reservations with the sword, the former captain was always open to learn more, thinking about the possibilities that might include finding new allies and even new abilities and she felt something nice could come out of the blade. “I admit now that I’m more interested in you. Who knows? Maybe I could use you once we are done.”
With her experience, the alluring woman never doubted the ability of others. Even if the weapon looked different, she felt it could still be useful for battle or training. As she continued admiring the strange-looking blade, the weapon started to glow. Even though it was something outstanding and easy to notice, Yoruichi didn’t react in any way. Obviously, that was the signal that there was something with a sword yet, the former captain simply remained there, locking her gaze into the strange-looking weapon that was showing her it’s true powers.
“Maybe…one of the captains could help me with you…I could also…look for information related to you…or maybe I could…keep you for myself…” the beautiful woman continued to lose herself in those thoughts, still unaware about the effect that the weapon had on her. She still kept thinking about the future with the sword, the possible battles or how to discover its true powers, not noticing what was happening at that exact moment.
The former captain not only continued to admire the strange-looking blade, but moved the object closer to her gaze, losing herself in the glow and the feeling of calmness. After a long day walking around the Soul Society, she wanted nothing more than to rest and the blade was helping her with that, letting the warrior achieve one sensation that she hasn’t felt in a long time.
“I can’t…can’t look away…I don’t want to…look away…” Yoruichi said calmly, losing herself in the glow of the blade and starting to feel dazed. The only reason why neither Ichigo or Rukia were affected by it was related to their strength. Both were powerful warriors and had outstanding abilities, but it still wasn’t enough. The moment Yoruichi held the blade, the weapon started to take control over her, all while she wasn’t aware of it. Even though the former captain was someone mentally strong, the blade still had an impact on her and the more she was with it, the more her mind weakened.
Yoruichi was usually a strong warrior, someone who barely anyone could break. Even in her worst moments, where she was on the edge of death, she still found a way out, but of course, this was something different. The former captain wasn’t against a group of warriors or a Shinigami, she was against a sword and her mistake was thinking that nothing bad would come out of it, that everything was going to end well and that she was going to have a memory from her time in the Soul Society.
“I…I need to keep looking…I want to…to do that…keep…looking…at the…sowrd…” she continued to lose herself into hypnotic glow, embracing that nice sensation that took over her. In a way, Yoruichi was glad for that, achieving a feeling of calmness that she was yearning for, wanting for quite a while to feel relaxed and without any feeling of tiredness. It continued like that for quite a while, enjoying the sensation until she felt something different. “I…I have to…to look away…”
The moment Yoruichi felt that something was wrong, she tried to look away from the sword, but it was too late. The simple task of closing her eyes or dropping the sword became an arduous one and even if she tried harder, nothing would change. With the warrior in that state, too weak to fight and struggling to keep herself from falling, the blade started to indulge some ideas in her mind.
“Listen.”
“Obey.”
“Submit.”
“O-obey? Sub…submit? N-no…I…I…can’t…” even with her mind being manipulated by the hypnotic powers of the blade, Yoruichi still knew that if she let her guard down and submitted then things would turn for the worse. While the true intentions of the sword were still a mystery to her, it was more than obvious that it wasn’t something good, seeing as it was trying to control her and manipulate her into submission. “I need…to resist…I need to…look away…I can’t…let this…control me!”
The beautiful woman tried again to throw the sword, using almost all of her energy in the process. At first, Yoruichi thought that she was going to do it, seeing that she was close to dropping the sword, but once the weapon blinded her with a brighter glow, all of her efforts went nowhere. The spirit of the blade continued with the manipulation, delighting her with that hypnotic and tantalizing glow and repeating all those thoughts of submission.
“Listen to me.”
“Obey the commands.”
“Submit to this feeling of bliss and calmness.”
For the first time, Yoruichi was close to reaching a state of panic. This wasn’t like any other thing and the worst part was that each time she tried to repel or fight against the glowing blade it looked like she was becoming weaker while the strange-looking sword was becoming stronger. Her fear was pretty noticeable as she started to tremble, worrying a lot about what was going to happen to her.
“N-no…I don’t…I…I can’t…I won’t…I…” Yoruichi was on her last grasps, barely with any energy left to continue. She was holding onto the idea of what could happen if she didn’t continue resisting, understanding that there were going to be lots of disasters if she let the hypnotic blade take over her. At that point, the beautiful woman lost control of her own body, not only moving closer to the strange-looking sword, but bowing while looking down. Her mind continued to fight back while her body came to terms with what was happening.
Even in that position, the former captain continued resisting, repeating to herself that she was the one in control and that she couldn’t submit. Sadly, her efforts had a negative effect as just the mention of the words submit and control made the alluring woman weaker. Naturally, the spirit of the hypnotic blade manipulated her thoughts, making emphasis on the idea that submitting was good and that she shouldn’t resist.
“You want to obey.”
“You want to submit.”
“You want to follow orders and be a good servant.
“I want to…I…I…” overwhelmed by the ideas and too tired to resist, Yoruichi closed her tired eyes and stopped resisting. It wasn’t necessary for her to look at the sword to feel the same effect as before, the ideas were in her mind and she kept thinking about how good it was to serve the hypnotic blade. Even if she wasn’t looking at the weapon, she was still about it, about its tantalizing glow and how it was making her feel. “I…want to…listen…I want to…obey…”
Her body relaxed, no longer being tense as she started to come to terms that the sensation was a good one. Yoruichi was scared at first, taken by surprise and unsure how to react, but upon getting the opportunity to experience that state of trance, the beautiful woman didn’t want this to stop. She knew that was the golden opportunity and a dream come true that was in front of her. It was a chance that she had to take and was ready to go for it.
“I…submit…” Yoruichi said calmly, finally dropping the last thought of resistance and embracing all those ideas related to being loyal to the hypnotic blade. While she believed it was a good moment, the former captain regretted the way she acted, trying to avoid looking at the sword and repelling its ideas. Wanting to patch things up with the blade that she now served, the beautiful woman decided to say a better plea, hoping not only that would be enough to show her she was going to be a loyal servant, but also would never try to make that kind of mistake again. “I submit to you, master. I’ll become your loyal servant and will obey each and every single command.”
Once Yoruichi opened her eyes, it was revealed that they had a cyan glow instead of being of that exotic gold. Of course, the spirit of the sword didn’t care about her plea as long as she continued to help him with his plans. The first order was a simple one as all the former captain had to do was leave the village, a command that the beautiful woman quickly obeyed. Her destination was the capital city of Sereitei, a place that was chosen thanks to the links Yoruichi had with some of the female captains and the other warriors. With the beautiful woman using the sword, not only the spirit could use the same hypnotic powers on the other women, but he could also use his more powerful hypnotic abilities, ones which were necessary to have the help of someone.
That day, the blade got a new owner, someone that not only would use it for her battles, but was also someone who became the loyal protector and someone who would be of assistance. Even though the only thing Yoruichi wanted was to have some days off and enjoy her time in the Soul Society and while things took a turn, she didn’t mind. The influence of the hypnotic blade was strong and the alluring woman was on with anything that the weapon that took control of her would command. Not only she was looking forward for more sessions with the blade.
She was also looking forward to the first time the two would take control on someone.
