I have never actually read the Wings of Fire cycle of novels, but the dragons in it are interesting enough to draw! Of course, me being me, I had to make it macro/micro-themed, so here's anthro Fatespeaker boob-cuddling a tiny feral Starflight. Enjoy my first art of 2024!

Aw, thanks Mani! I agree, Wings of Fire anthro art is seriously underrated, and macro art of the WoF dergs seems to be completely absent (until now!) It's criminal, I tell you!
I've been exposed to plenty of storylines and characters from the series (like how Fatespeaker and Starflight seem to have feelings for one another), so one day I might as well get up to speed and give it a go! I do know I've taken a good liking to some of the dragons, so there's a fair chance I'll be drawing another tiny Pyrrhian derg being squished by a bigger one someday. Perhaps you can even give me some suggestions! c:

I did not know I needed Wings of Fire (WoF) anthro until now. Of course. Macro/Micro stuff makes almost anything better. Thanks for making this, I love it.
Anyway, yeah you should read the series. I personally really like it. And Fatespeaker is one of the best characters, outside Sunny or Tsunami.
