Abyssal Tide: Well, here we are, yet again. More hostages, more problems.
Draft Resister: Those rebellious scums must love tempting us, do they?
Doubletooth: F.E.N.R.I. just said, “Don’t get so excited boys, those were the easy ones.”
Ganzanha: *enters the headquarters alongside Crash* Greetings, gentlemen.
Crash: We made it back in one piece.
Unnamed Red River Hog: *enters the headquarters* …..
Doubletooth: *sees the Unnamed Red River Hog* Hm…?
Abyssal Tide: *also sees the Unnamed Red River Hog* Hey, who’s the pig?
Crash: Another captive we’ve brought along the way.
Unnamed Red River Hog: You all must be the Infurnationals I’ve been hearing about.
Abyssal Tide: Indeed. That is us.
Unnamed Red River Hog: It’s an honor to meet you al- *yawns*
Draft Resister: You tired, mate?
Unnamed Red River Hog: Either that or the tranquilizer hasn’t worn off yet.
Abyssal Tide: Tranquilizer, huh? Hmm…if I put this in context, one of the rebels sniped ya causing you to fall into a coma, am I right?
Unnamed Red River Hog: Yes, that is EXACTLY what happened! Before all of this, I was heading home from my job. That is…until suddenly I noticed those two soldiers roaming around carrying a truckload of minerals. As the old saying goes, “curiosity killed the cat.” So, I followed them to where they were heading, and what did I find? An industrial facility, built and owned by you-know-who.
Abyssal Tide, Doubletooth, and Draft Resister: …F.E.N.R.I.!
Unnamed Red River Hog: Exactly. I recognize that dreadful symbol anywhere. Thus, I took action. Unfortunately, just when I was heading to the facility, out of nowhere someone shot a dart…right in my bum. I took it out, tho. However, that dart’s already taking effect. And just like that…everything faded to black. As if praying for a miracle, I was suddenly saved *holds his out to Ganzanha and Crash* by these two saviors standing right before me. Ganzanha, Crash…thank you.
Ganzanha and Crash: You’re welcome.
Abyssal Tide: Wait a minute. There’s one thing that I don’t quite get, let alone am curious about it - what the hell does F.E.N.R.I. want with those minerals?
Ganzanha: DRC is one of Africa’s most richly endowed countries hosting numerous major deposits of diamonds, gold, copper, cobalt, tin, tantalum, and lithium. Mining is a major source of employment, and the minerals that are mined there are for the global manufacturing of products. Take electric vehicles, electronic devices, and even infrastructure, for instance.
Crash: My guess is…F.E.N.R.I. is going to use those minerals to create powerful war machines.
Unnamed Red River Hog: *concerned* We CAN’T let this happen! I won’t let them use my country’s minerals for world domination!
Abyssal Tide: Well, what are we doing standing around here for?! Time we pay a visit to DRC, and shut down F.E.N.R.I.’s production for good!
Bamidele: I’ll join and fight alongside you guys as a gratitude for saving my life. Oh, and by the way…the name’s Bamidele. If you or your allies are suffering from any pain, hit me up. I’ll take good care of you.
