Ending scene of the "Best Luck".
This takes place some 30 odd years after Greg acquired Selene. A lot of things have happened over that time, one being the ethics has finally caught up with science and laws have come into place granting MGs rights equal to humans. Not too surprisingly the process worked in reverse, natural born MGs got those rights first with the lab made ones getting them some years later. The guy with the briefcase is a government services type who came to inform Selene that she was no longer owned by Greg, that she was free to do as she wished. Much to his surprise she tells him:
"Greg is a good Owner, I see no reason to change things."
When the guy begins to object she throws up one of her hands to silence him and gets the "look of steel" expression on her face.
"You've just said that I am free to do as I wish! I choose THIS!"
The guy realizes that he's not going to get any further, thanks her for her time, and walks away. Greg meets him at the door whereupon the guy shakes his hand and says:
"Mister, you are one lucky bastard!"
then he heads out. Seconds later a couple of Selene's kids run up to him asking "daddy" to come see something. Greg gathers both up in his arms and tells them they need to wait until their company has departed. As the guy nears his car Greg says to himself
"Lucky, mister?"
He hikes the kids a little higher in his arms.
"You have no idea!" Greg finishs.
