I personally hosted the Anthro New England 2024 VRChat Meet-and-Greet, with the assistance of Fluffy Fur Friends member, Andromeda. It was the convention's first ever VRChat meet-and-greet in its nine-year history!
We were initially assigned to one of the largest panel rooms, but the original timeslot conflicted with the fursuit photo and parade and I refused to force people to make a choice, so we requested reassignment and got the Stone Room.
Within minutes, the room was nearly filled to capacity, blowing away my expectations.
Furthermore, I decided to spice up the meet by getting a banner commissioned to display the VRChat and Anthro New England logos. The staff at Anthro New England loved the idea, especially considering that we would be donating the banner to the charity auction and encouraging people to attend.
Everyone got the chance to literally sign a piece of history!
Afterward, I converted the banner into a VRChat asset and made it available for download, and also posted it to my personal world, the Aquatix Haven!
