Finally getting around to reuploading (or in this particular case, uploading for the first time, as I don't believe it's displayed in anyone else's gallery at the moment) some Christmas images from last year! I'd call this one a commission, and while that's technically true, I feel like that would be somewhat misleading since it's not actually mine... it just includes August is all, which gives me a suitable reason to submit it here! Hopefully I'll have all of my late Christmas images posted before winter ends, but y'know, given how slowly I repost content I'm just happy to get any of them out at all.
This comfortably cute and cozy image was illustrated by
DillyDreams, who was commissioned by 
randomguy16! It includes August, his Torracat, and a Pikachu who I'm unsure if they have a name and I'm pretty sure belongs to someone anonymous. I wasn't really sure what I should have been expecting with this image; I was basically approached and asked whether or not I'd be fine with August appearing in a Christmas themed image, which I readily agreed to. Thankfully the finished result is adorable so I don't really have any reason to regret that decision!
It's Christmas day somewhere in the Pokemon world, and August has been invited to Kiva's living space along with a couple other friends to celebrate! Bringing his trust red and white Santa hat with him, he is appropriately dressed for the occasion as they open gifts in front of a fully decorated, evergreen tree erected inside the living room. Traditionally, Torracats are born with a golden fire bell that they wear fastened around their necks similarly to a collar, but believe it or not, Kiva doesn't normally have one! This, of course, leaves space for some potential dazzling bling.
As Kiva attaches the yellowish-orange ornament she'd received as a gift this year under his chin, August is shocked to discover that the minuscule shape of another Pokemon resides inside it;, somehow, she's gotten her Pikachu friend to fit in there! How'd she manage that?! August is so surprised, his mouth lies agape, and he becomes Pogust.
