These systems search through resumes for relevant keywords. The results are commonly used as a first screen before people begin review resumes. Is this used in the job market? Maybe. Should you be worried about it? No, a well written resume made to impress a living reviewer should sail through this step (assuming your resume meets the eligibility requirements.

PS: AI is not being used in this space (as of 02.02.2024). The EU will likely block this use of it and who knows what will happen in the US (all it takes is one court case for the landscape to shift).
