- Her desert country is plagued with illness, which has affected both her mother (the queen) and her older sister (the throne’s heir), the country has tried to keep the plague a secret at risk of attacks from neighboring nations
- Left her country in search of aid, marrying herself off into one of these nearby nations as the bride to Prince Shay
- She hopes to use his country’s trade routes to transfer supplies to her people in secret
- She’s headstrong and proud, to a fault
- Has a deep love of her country, culture, people, and family, to the point she would do anything to protect them
- Absolutely adores flowers and dancing
- She’s a sorceress and specializes in fire-based magic
- Is quite handy with a scimitar
- Ultimately will murder her husband for the good of her people
