Calem Eorzean Adventures 2
"So you know where there's gold stashed? But why didn't you go alone to get it all for yourself then..." The pink-haired Miqo'te asked, raising an eyebrow. She always heard that Lalafells are very prone to mischief, many of them being master grifters, she couldn't let her guard down.
"Come on, just look at me!" The short yet bulky person pointed to himself, shaking his head. "I can't really fight any monsters by myself, and it would be hard to carry much of any spoils back... pleeeeeeease, trust me! They said you're one of the best in the place, I wouldn't come here if I wasn't certain that this was a good deal, I swear by my ears we'll get rich!" He now nodded, the brown-haired Lalafell wearing some kind of modern clothing appearing to be ever so slightly jumping in place from eagerness.
Y'sila still looked suspicious at the dwarf-like person, but then also nodded with a shake on his hand. How could such plumpy small individual give her any problems after all...

Both adventurers walked around the outskirts of Uldah, Y'sila following the somewhat waddling Lalafell leading the way, the Miqo'te now starting to feel a bit silly about feeling worried by such funny figure. After one hour or two of chit-chatting on the road, it seemed that the two reached on what appeared to be an abandoned stone hallway. "Ssssshhhhhh, I think I heard something!" Calem stopped in place and raised his hand towards the cat girl behind. "I'll peak the corner to see who could be, you stay here and watch my back!". Y'sila ears perked up as she nodded in silence, unsheating her weapon as she stared at his companion slowly walk towards the illuminated corner, ready to defend him if needed.
But unfortunately for Y'sila, paying so much attention to her front distracted her from hearing some very faint mechanical noises coming from the walls aside her, and when she noticed the huge stone walls rocketting towards her direction, it was already too late: SMASH!!!
After the darkness of being sandwiched in between two massive pistons of stone faded away, Y'sila dizzy eyes adjusted to light once again, and soon noticed a familiar figure. Calem was staring at her, but instead of having a worried expression or trying to help her, he looked at her with a smug grin stamped on his face. "Yeeesss yeeees, I sincerely apologize for all that deception business my dear, but you have to understand, such pretty Miqo'te poster like yourself could fetch astronomical prices, this is nothing personal! I know many sultans that would love to have you as their table cloth, or a few rich pirate friends that would find you to make for quite the alluring flag on their ships!" He said to the stuck cat girl, not really expecting a response in return. As if to tease her or just something he liked to do, the Lalafell grabbed a small hand mirror from his backpack and showed it to the helpless cat girl. Y'sila already knew this feeling of not being able to move very well, she was indeed stuck flat, this was hardly the first time this ever happened to her. But as she stared at the mirror she could see that she also was stuck in a quite ornamental sideways pose, looking similar to many hieroglyphs of the past. "Yes, before we continue business, I guess I should properly introduce myself, and I work in building and creating squishing contraptions such as this, to capture lovely posters such as yourself~! Flattened adventurer posters are getting quite the market now!" He softly giggled to himself, putting the mirror away as he poked Y'sila's flattened leg, his finger sinking on her doughy and smooth flat skin. "And as you might have noticed, this time I have been thinkering with spatial magicks too, placing you into such cute decorative pose in the compressing process~! But now come, let me peel and roll you up, we have a long way ahead of us tonig- ACK!!!
The Lalafell was suddenly interrupted by the massive walls closing again, this time also catching him in the process! As smart as Calem could be creating these aether-powered crushing traps and devices, unfortunately for him they also weren't the most reliable gadgets possible, and that was shown here when they opened up again, now revealing an equally as squashed and smeared Lalafell flattened in the same pose on the other side of the wall. He couldn't believe in what just happened, fuming internally from sheer embarrassment and wondering how he could escape such humiliating situation. But before he could think more about his predicament, the enormous stone walls closed again, squashing all these thoughts into pure dizziness... looks like the device would remain malfunctioning until it's aether fuel ran out...

It was said that many close by places at the outskirts of Uldah still had many hidden artifacts and paintings from another era, preserved by the locals despite being so close to the city. And that was what peeked the interest out of Alphinaud, the curious Elezen and his Moogle companion traveling from far away to inspect such strangely large and lively-looking hieroglyphs...
I was in the mood for making a FF14 screenshot manip with my new Lalafell-self, and thought it would be fun to also include Swingshine 's Miqo'te Y'sila, who is also a fan of making FF14 squishings, go check them out!
I also tried to add a little short story to it too, I thought it would be funny if my Eorzean self-insert also earned his living by flattening others, just like how I do with art commissions, I'll probably use this idea again for future FF14 manips in the future as it's the perfect excuse to squish others. I hope you guys like this kind of non-drawing work too, any feedback is appreciated!
