Biography: Aegates is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being 2 days older than Lysimache, the last of the 5th line of 1/2 mermaids in the family. She is one of the handful who inherited her parents' knack for programming, and she one day wound up demonstrating this when she & some of her other sisters found Personal Terminal parts owned by Juni. After she constructed her part without any assistance, she went onto create netnavis to inhabit it; also without any assistance, or flaws. The navis she created were BladeMan.EXE, and SpiralPegasus.EXE. Some however, felt that BladeMan.EXE needed to revamped since it was mistakenly believed that Palutena's own navi Blade.EXE was already themed after Blade Man, but this was proven untrue due to Blade.EXE looking nothing like the robot master in question. Nonetheless, Aegates was permitted to partake in the war against Netcrime in the Mega Man Battle Network. However, due to her airheadedness, she is the only one of the Olympian party who did not obtain a fulltime job as a teacher's assistant; only coming in when she is within her full game so to speak. Nonetheless, she did attend the 1st day session, and proved to be a decent instructor as well. Even so, Aegates got her time of action in the battles against netcrime, and even outside of those battles, Aegates is prepped to lend a hand when necessary. Aegates, as one might expect from those in Juni's family. She's very friendly & affectionate to the point she would dote on her kid siblings every now & then. However, she is known to be a bit of an airhead. There are times where she is up in her game, and sometimes she forgets things on occasion, which can pose a problem with one instance seeing her forget that Princess Pride was a member of Gospel & she tried to kill all the Officials at the meeting, and she assumed Tesla was Gauss's wife, leading to a few to give her a series of reminders. Aegates enjoys studying mythologies & owns many books based on different types. However, she cannot stand people who're absolute realists. The sharpest knife involving mythology.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Aegates is able to transform into her mermaid form at any point she enters the water, but like her siblings & mother, she prefers the water to be eithe fresh, or seawater, and wants the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Like all the 1/2 mermaids, and her mother, Aegates is a strong swimmer in her mermaid form, able to even beat the strongest of currents. She is also able to commune with undersea life just by speaking to them. Aegates might not be the most tech-savvy girl, but she certainly knew how to build her own PET from scratch without any problem, and was able to make her navis without any sort of incident as well. Aegates is a skilled netbattler, and she operates her navis in full sync despite her airheadedness every now & then. Nonetheless, she is also skilled in the ways of the Program Advance, always forming one when the chance to do so arises.
About # BladeMan.EXE is a Sword-Attributed Netnavi who was created by Juni's daughter Aegates to use around the Olympian household, and in the Mega Man Battle Network universe. He was made using data on ancient swords Aegates had handy, and he was programmed with a good amount of knowledge on such weapons. Unlike Palutena's navi Blade.EXE, BladeMan.EXE is indeed themed after the robot master of the same name, thus making him an actual counterpart to the aforementioned robot master. He has the same bladed head as the original, and he has a similar color scheme. However, he has arms similar to that of a Kingambit's, but he only has these outside of battle. As a result, BladeMan.EXE is capable of morphing his arms into blades similar to the original Blade Man's, but he does not include the grips, only opting for the business ends so to speak. His legs are similar to that of a Kingambit's, but he stands up straight on his feet instead of being hunched up. He also wears his navi mark over where the "v" ends on his armor. His mark is that of 3 blades crossing together. In the Battle Network universe, BladeMan.EXE was met with positive reception, but some questioned if he was Blade.EXE's sister, yet he answered that he was not related to Blade.EXE in any fashion aside from name. Nonetheless, whenever Aegates was allowed to help out with class 5-A, he acted as one of many battle instructors; teaching the pros & cons of using sword chips. He was challenged to his 1st Netbattle by MegaMan.EXE, and BladeMan.EXE accepted his invitation to battle. But, like the other Olympian navis that MegaMan.EXE had fought against, BladeMan.EXE toppled him with supreme ease despite Aegates not being 100% on level with her game at the time. He also took part in the many fights against netcrime, being of particular use in a multitude of instances, such as PlantMan.EXE's attack on the Seaside Hospital. There were some trees that were too thick to be properly burned, but BladeMan.EXE was able to cut them down to size & open up new pathways. This however, got the attention of PlantMan.EXE & went to deal with BladeMan.EXE under Anetta's orders (Which was enough of a distraction for Aegates's father Juni to do a chip swap on Anetta, swapping a lethal giga chip with Back-up chips for Silk.EXE), but PlantMan.EXE was forced to return to his original post, but would wind up deleted in the end nonetheless. Even before this moment, and after that, BladeMan.EXE is ready to cut down anyone that poses a threat to net society, or even the world as a whole. Unlike Aegates, BladeMan.EXE is sharp & well focused on his tasks laid out before him. He never leaves a job unfinished. He is also knowledgeable on weapons; namely swords, and can speak on the subject for a long time. Unfortunately, once he starts talking on that topic, it is extremely difficult for him to stop, often requiring a jab to the back of his neck to make him stop talking. Nonetheless, he enjoys a fair fight if the chance arises, but he has little to no patience for cheaters. As a Sword-Type navi, BladeMan.EXE has an advantage over those of the Wind Attribute, but does not fair well against Breaking. He is fast & nimble on his feet & has the most dangerous attack power between him & SpiralPegasus.EXE. All of his attacks have the sword-attribute. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
Sharp Body: BladeMan.EXE is capable of sharpening his body for 10 seconds, reducing damage dealt to him by 1/2. Melee attacks are rendered ineffective against him as well, making his attack take damage instead of him.
Blade Swipe: BladeMan.EXE's basic attack. This is a simple 2-square deep sword attack. It can be chained for a combo attack.
Triple Blade: BladeMan.EXE's charge attack. BladeMan.EXE throws 3 sharp swords down all 3 rows with each lining up differently to make the attack tricky to dodge.
Step Blade: BladeMan.EXE jumps up 2 squares deep & slashes twice, cutting 3 squares wide first, then 2 squares deep after.
Step Cross: BladeMan.EXE jumps up 2 squares, and then slashes in an X formation. The center of the attack hurts the most.
Swords Dance: BladeMan.EXE summons 6 swords around himself & they dance around him, defending him from incoming attacks 6 times. Each sword hit also unleashes a sonic boom in retaliation. If any swords remain after the dance is done, then they provide BladeMan.EXE's next chip with a +10 attack bonus for each sword still remaining. The maximum is +60 if all 6 swords do not disappear after attacking an enemy.
Blade Tower: BladeMan.EXE thrusts his blades down into the panel in front of him and creates huge blade towers that pop up in 3 different panels on the enemy's side 3 different times. Alternatively, BladeMan.EXE also launches a wave of big blades down the row he is currently facing.
Blade Smash: BladeMan.EXE slams the blade on her head, cutting 2 squares deep. The impact also deals Breaking-Attribute damage.
Dash Strike: BladeMan.EXE dashes forward, slicing anyone or anything in his path. Sometimes he'll leave the opponent(s) he runs through marked, then raise one of his blade arms to inflict a 3-hit rapid attack on those marked.
Double Slasher: BladeMan.EXE enters a counter stance as if prepping to use a Slasher Battle Chip. But as the name implies, this attack can hit twice instead of once. Nonetheless, the same rules of the aforementioned chip apply with this natural attack.
Fire Saber: BladeMan.EXE heats up his arm blades & slashes 3 squares wide, then 2 squares deep. Fire-Element.
Sword Dive: BladeMan.EXE jumps up high, before launching himself forward, head blade at the ready. He will travel 3 squares deep in the hopes of slicing a target in his path. If he hits someone while flying, the attack stops there.
Sword Rain: BladeMan.EXE summons a rain of swords down onto randomly targeted panels. The swords are capable of slicing targets 3 times at once if they hit someone.
Blade Storm: BladeMan.EXE's ultimate attack. He first summons a Sword Rain, albeit a much more long lasting one, while spinning about furiously in a zig-zag fashion. After the rain finishes, BladeMan.EXE performs a diving attack, but stronger & causing sword towers to erupt on all columns on the enemy's side.
About # SpiralPegasus.EXE is a Wind-Attributed Netnavi created by Juni's daughter Aegates to use around the Olympian household, and in the Mega Man Battle Network universe. Unlike BladeMan.EXE, SpiralPegasus.EXE was made purely out of inspiration, and through Aegates's love for Pegasi. And she was able to create him from scratch on the first try as well. SpiralPegasus.EXE greatly resembles the reploid he is named after, even sporting the same head & wing design. However, his forearms & forelegs are slimmer like a typical custom navi's, and this extends to his pauldrons & body armor. His belt hosts his navi mark: A sky blue pegasus flying through the clouds, and it appears more among platinum lines than gold. Instead of a mohawk, SpiralPegasus.EXE instead has a ponytail funnily enough. Nonetheless, there aren't that many differences from the original. In the Battle Network universe, SpiralPegasus.EXE proved to be popular among the female navis within ACDC Elementary's Class 5-A on the first day he was brought in to be a battle instructor. He was one of the few who taught how to fight alongside the power of wind & how it can be played to one's advantage. To demonstrate, he asked MegaMan.EXE to spar with him, and it was a challenge he & Lan accepted without hesitation. Although MegaMan.EXE put up a good struggle against SpiralPegasus.EXE, the latter proved to be a whole lot stronger & defeated his pupil, proving his point on how one can use the wind to their advantage. Even so, SpiralPegasus.EXE saw his time in the battles against Netcrime as well. He was one of the navis who helped fight the fires started by Mr. Match on the net during the Alpha incident, taking care to make sure flames were promptly blown out instead of onto another part of the network where they had the potential to spread & cause more havoc than what was needed. However, his biggest contribution was during the effort to keep the Force Program from being stolen where he kept the Typhoon viruses in Mr. Weather's network from spiraling wildly out of control, keeping them trapped until his partner could assemble the rainbow program needed to wash said viruses away. Even before & after these events, he stands ready to lend a hand when needed. SpiralPegasus.EXE is a gentleman at heart & is a fair minded individual. For these reasons, he gets along extremely well with Glide.EXE. Although he also has a prideful side to him, it isn't as big as his counterpart's is & does a better job of keeping it under control. He enjoys a nice flight around the block, but coming from a line of honorable fighters, he detests those who would resort to dirty tricks to win, but he hates being referred to as TheSkiver.EXE more so & will not hesitate to lash out at anyone who calls him this. SpiralPegasus.EXE possesses great speed, but he is only 2nd in terms of attack power since BladeMan.EXE deals the most raw damage compared to Pegasus. To make up for this, SpiralPegasus.EXE's attacks can trap foes when necessary to make other attacks harder, or impossible to avoid altogether. As a result, SpiralPegasus.EXE tends to rely on tactical use of the wind rather than dishing out heavy raw damage. All of his attacks are Wind-Attributed, unless otherwise stated. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
Air Shoes: SpiralPegasus.EXE can stand over holes.
Float Shoes: SpiralPegasus.EXE is immune to the negative effects of panels.
Pegasus Buster: SpiralPegasus.EXE's basic attack, which involves firing wind-type shots down the row he is currently facing.
Wing Spiral: SpiralPegasus.EXE's charge attack. He jumps up high enough to avoid getting hit & launches a whirlwind down a targeted row that gets bigger the further it travels. The whirlwind pushes enemies back with it. If a caught enemy is still trapped when the whirlwind gets to its biggest size, they will repeatedly take damage.
Dash Attack: SpiralPegasus.EXE launches himself forward down the row he is on, ramming into any enemy that is in his way & sending them back a space. He may sometimes rise into the air to pack more power into his dash before charging forward. In this instance, any opponent hit is sent back 2 spaces instead of one.
Hurricane Shredder: SpiralPegasus.EXE launches an afterimage of himself 3 squares deep. If it hits a target, the target is bombarded with sharp strands of wind as the afterimage fades away.
Pegasus Gallop: SpiralPegasus.EXE points forward & summons a herd of Pegasi that gallop down each row 3 times. If a Mystery Data is on the field, the Pegasus that hits it will pick it up. This attack lasts for 5 seconds, and the Pegasi can be stopped with obstacles. They can run over holes, too.
Pegasus Stampede: A stronger variation of Pegasus Gallop. This summons more Pegasi & at faster rates, making it much harder to avoid. Once again, they pick up Mystery Data if it's present, and can be stopped with obstacles.
Steel Wing: SpiralPegasus.EXE flies up & turns his wings into solid steel before charging down with his wings covering the rows adjacent to him. This attack is empowered with the Break-Attribute in addition to Wind.
Sky Shoryuken: SpiralPegasus.EXE's ultimate attack. He takes off into the sky before coming down fast on several panels, striking anyone & anything in his way. He will make at least 5 trips before stopping the attack.
