A short, four page comic that came to my head and I thought it was funny so I drew it.

Jareth is the main character of "THe Brightest Sun" a larger comic that I've been hard at work writing that I will start illustrating once I'm done with this part of Diplomatic Immunity.
I have a few short comics written that feature Jareth that are written, and I will likely draw at least some of them later, but I figured that this would be a good introduction to the character. He's a xenobiologist with a genius level intellect and a tendancy to say and do dumb things. Remember that old Far Side comic where a kid is pushing on a door for the School for the Gifted that says "Pull"? That's basically Jareth in a nut shell.

Here he is halfway into what I call his 'professor mode'. Normally, he talks like a normal guy, but when he is talking to colleagues and engrossed in his work, his tone of voice and way of speaking changes to sound more intellectual. He's not quite at that point here, but he's getting there.

Also shown in this comic is his best buddy, Patrick who also plays a big role in The Brightest Sun.
